We have developed and patented durable sealing systems to treat different types of SF6 leaks that we encounter on Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and conventional AIS.
For these types of leaks, we fit an enclosure around the leaking equipment. The pressure between the sealed enclosure and the equipment stops the leak.
Installing these systems does not require the equipment to be shut down. The programmes necessary to prepare and install the equipment therefore do not impact on the operation of the plant affected.
